Orientation

Orientation is intended to train and certify its students with the knowledge and ability to become independent, contributing video producers, on-air hosts or behind the scenes technical crew. In the Orientation, you will learn about the role of public access television in your community and how to run a studio camera and work on shoots as technical crew and you’ll learn terminology to help you better understand the language of television production. Orientation offers information on a variety of other topics and presents an opportunity for any novice or expert to learn something new.

Upon completion of the Orientation, graduates will be given the title of Volunteer Member and granted access to the use of the facility and its equipment in the studio. Volunteers will also have the option to take Field Production and Basic Editing with Adobe Premiere classes.
