insPAWed: Episode Twelve – Chuck Chopak |
In this episode of insPAWed, we sit down with Chuck Chopak to share how his French Bulldog Stella became more than a companion and grew into a certified therapy dog helping others through meaningful community work.
Chuck and Stella formed a strong bond from the very beginning. During daily walks through downtown Haverhill, Stella’s friendly personality and natural connection with people quickly stood out. After earning her Canine Good Citizen certification, Chuck was encouraged to explore therapy work, eventually leading Stella to become part of a nationally certified Pet Partners therapy team.
Today, Stella visits schools, libraries, and community spaces, bringing comfort, smiles, and connection everywhere she goes. Through Team Stella, Chuck has discovered the powerful impact one dog can have on the emotional wellbeing of others.
insPAWed is a show about the animals who inspire purpose in their humans. Filmed at HC Media Studio in Haverhill, Massachusetts, each episode shares real stories of pets who spark businesses, healing work, creative paths, and community impact.
In this conversation with host Cyndie Morgan and co-host Nigel, we discuss Stella’s journey into therapy work, the importance of the human animal bond, and how one friendly French Bulldog is helping make a difference in the community.
